Joint Replacement App

Technology has become essential to our lives, and healthcare is no exception. Apps have the potential to be a powerful tool in healthcare, especially if you are preparing for or recovering from surgery. They can help you to feel more in control of your recovery process and improve your overall health outcomes. Recognising that most of our patients own a smartphone, we began working with Johnson & Johnson Medtech to create a bespoke App that puts the information you need at your fingertips.

The Care4Today App is an easy and accessible way to find valuable information about your condition, surgery and recovery process.

  • Learn about your procedure
  • Know what to expect
  • Prepare for your surgery
  • Plan your return home
  • Get practical and lifestyle tips and exercises to benefit your surgery and recovery
  1. The Care4Today App can be found in the App Store or Google Play, or you can scan the QR code below:

  1. You will then be asked to enter a hospital/procedural code. Please insert one of the codes below:
    Procedure Hospital/Procedural Code
Day case total hip replacement Cappaghdayhip
    Inpatient total hip replacement Cappaghhip
2nd or subsequent hip revision Cappaghrevhip
    Inpatint total knee replacement Cappaghknee
2nd or subsequent knee revision Cappaghrevknee

We hope you find this App useful; please feel free to provide feedback or ask questions through the helpdesk within the application or at your next appointment.

As part of our commitment to providing a premium, safe and secure user experience, we would like to collect and analyse information on how users interact with the app. This information will be collected anonymously and will not directly identify you. For more information on how this works, please see our ‘Security & Privacy’ page.
