The Hospital has advanced diagnostic capability and state-of-the-art surgical theatres equipped with specialist equipment and a comprehensive musculoskeletal facility for optimal recovery. Following your surgery, you will have access to Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and specialist services who will help you to regain function, strength and stamina, restoring your ability, confidence and independence.

We take pride in our work and it shows

We will ensure that your stay with us is pleasant and worthwhile. We take great pride in our work, combining clinical expertise and extraordinary care to deliver the highest standards of healthcare. As a centre of excellence, we consistently achieve positive clinical outcomes with low infection and readmission rates. In addition, high patient satisfaction ratings (HIQA National Patient Experience Survey) positively attest to the quality of care at the hospital and place the hospital 7th in the national ranking.

We are committed to your care

Although we are enormously proud of the standards of care at the Hospital, we believe there is always room for improvement. We put our patients first and relentlessly explore new ways to enhance the patient experience and improve outcomes. Everyone has a valuable contribution to make, and we ensure their great ideas are actioned to benefit the patient.

We observe robust change management procedures, conducting comprehensive evaluations and risk assessments, and meaningfully involving all stakeholders affected by a proposed change in the change process.

We set high standards in medical education and training

We are a teaching hospital, educating the next generation of healthcare professionals to the highest standards. In this capacity, we equip our students with the knowledge, skills, ethical guidance and professional values to deliver premium patient care.

We are leading the way in Orthopaedic Medicine

We want to lead the way in orthopaedic medicine, using the extensive knowledge and experience of our people to drive research. By gaining a better understanding of the human body, we can formulate new approaches to diagnosis and treatment to improve the lives of patients.

For this reason, we participate in research collaborations with engineers and scientists from global universities and industries and engage with international colleagues. We hope that our work will contribute to new treatments for a better quality of life.
